When it comes to house music we usually talk about dj’s who happen to be producers and writers, but not singers, that’s why most of the times the success of a track for them comes from powerfull vocals, the lyrics doen’t make it all, it’s the strength, the sweetness or melancholy that vocalists put into it, so here are four of the greatest voices on house scene:

Laura Vane, great vocalist, this girl has funk and soul oozing from every part of her and she’s had some dance releases on labels such as Ministry, Soulfuric, Device, Big Love, Toolroom, Juicy and Ink, adding her voice to wonderfull tracks from artists like Dave Spoon, Robbie Rivera and Mj Cole. Katherine Ellis is one of the most respected and versatile vocalists, Katherine's reputation for her sweet vocals continues growing, she has already worked with some of the biggest names in music including Roger Sanchez, The Ruff Driverz, Raven Maize aka Joey Negro, Soul Avengerz, Lee Coombs, Dylan Rhymes, J-Reverse, Noir and Soul Flava, The Freemasons, Herd & Fitz, Tom De Neef, Tom Stephan, Bimbo Jones, Lee Coombs and Dylan Rhymes. An extremely talented writer, Katherine has co-written several hits including ‘If you wanna / The salsoul nugget’ by M & S presents The girl next door and Fascinated by Raven Maize, and she's written the toplines for Dreaming by the Ruff Driverz, Insatiable by Mark Knight and Salty by to name a few.

Lisa Pure, at an early age she realized she wanted to be on stage, she spent her youth in school productions, choir and church. Stealth Records signed her and she’s been touring with Roger Sanchez being a member of the S band, performing live and showing the amazing voice she owns. Lisa has worked with some of the biggest names in House music.

Kathy Brown is a dance music from South Carolina, she scored #1 success as the lead singer of Praxis before having stateside dance hits on her own. In 1999 she climbed on the charts with "Joy" and in 2004 was the credited lead vocalist on the British act Soul Central’s "Strings of life (Stronger on my own), she has also participated with many dj’s adding her recognizable style to many productions.
